Description was written before the event

On Wednesday, 14 October 2026, Assen organizes an Archaeology Activity Day for families, right in the middle of the autumn half-term.

Listen to stories about the Girl of Yde or mammoth hunts, make your own pouch using prehistoric techniques, or watch how a funnel beaker is made.
