Canto Ostinato - Scholtes and Janssens

Scholtes & Janssens brings Canto Ostinato to Emmen on Friday, 18 September 2026. The piano duo performs Simeon ten Holt's meditative masterpiece on two grand pianos. This is one of two Dutch dates for the ensemble; a second performance follows later in September in Almere. Canto Ostinato has the distinctive quality that no two performances are ever identical - the work's improvisatory structure ensures each evening unfolds as a unique interpretation.
