KWOKtoberfest

After a sold-out first edition, KWOKTOBERFEST returns to FLUOR. On Wednesday, October 7, the cartoonists of Evert Kwok present an evening of comedy, cartoons, music, schlagers and bock beer. Evert Kwok also presents a new book, Die Zweimannschaft performs their signature worst schlagers, and the KWOK bock beer - brewed by Rock City Brewing from Amersfoort - is back as well.

The line-up for this second edition features four comedians: Sarah Lee Ketner, Bob Koomen, Pieter Jouke and Wilko Terwijn as MC.

Sarah Lee Ketner is a writer, theatre maker and stand-up comedian. After creating theatre productions, she found her way to stand-up comedy. In 2025 she won Pucks Talent Cabaret, in 2026 the jury prize of Let's Make Comedy, and she is a regular at Knock Out Comedy Club in Utrecht.

Wilko Terwijn has been on stage since 1995 and performed everywhere from New York to Lowlands. He broke through with his New Year's Eve stand-up shows on television and performed solo theatre productions. Behind the scenes, he was one of the regular head writers for Comedy Central Roasts and co-wrote the Correspondents' Dinner for Prime Minister Mark Rutte. At Kwoktoberfest he performs as MC.

Bob Koomen is a comedian with Comedytrain and finalist of the Leiden Cabaret Festival 2025. He regularly performs at Comedyclub Comedytrain and the new Toomler, and is currently touring with his first solo show: Peer. In recent years he has also appeared at Lowlands and with Lubach.

Pieter Jouke is a cabaret artist, writer and television presenter. Since his comedy debut in 2000, he has created multiple full-length programmes and written for radio, television and fellow cabaret artists. He appeared in Koppensnellers, CQC, Staat van Verwarring and Padoem Patsss, and co-founded Buro Renkema with Edo Schoonbeek and Arjen Lubach. He is currently performing his eighth full-length show: Uit stilstand.
