Bridge to Liberation at the John Frostbrug

On Friday, September 18, the live performance Bridge to Liberation takes place at the foot of the John Frostbrug. The 2026 edition centres on the theme of Flight: four personal stories of people who had to evacuate during the Battle of Arnhem, about saying goodbye, starting over, resilience and freedom.

The performance combines music, dance, film and visual effects. Kimberly Fransens, Ruben Hillen, Josua Peter, Introdans, Orkest Phion and backing vocals bring the stories to life.

Bridge to Liberation begins at 20:30 at the Rijnkade in Arnhem. Those unable to attend can follow the performance live via NPO 3, Omroep Gelderland or the livestream on the website.
