Dina Ögon returns to BIRD on 18 October with their most expansive work to date. The Stockholm-based band blends soul, jazz, indie pop and Scandinavian folk, featuring intimate songwriting and rich arrangements.
Their fourth album Människobarn is a double album that demands attention from start to finish - a deliberate choice in an era where loose singles dominate. Singer Anna Ahnlund's lyrics turn inward: relationships, life and loss. The songs move between euphoria and melancholy, with personal perspectives and subtle humour woven into weightier themes.
Musically, the band sounds more confident than ever. Warm grooves, layered instrumentation and occasionally a darker undertone blend into a recognizable whole. Tracks like "Dålig teve", "Margaretas sång", "Människobarn", "Hack i häl" and "Du tappa dä" give an impression of the album's breadth, but the strength lies in the complete work.
