Myles Sanko

On 15 October, British soul and jazz artist Myles Sanko performs at LantarenVenster in Rotterdam. The show is a collaboration between BIRD Rotterdam and LantarenVenster.

Sanko has Ghanaian and French roots, influences that shine through in his soulful, jazzy grooves. He has shared the stage with Gregory Porter and soul legend Martha High, and has sold out LantarenVenster multiple times before. His musical touchstones include Bill Withers, Otis Redding, Al Green, and James Brown.

In 2024, his sixth album Let It Unfold was released on his own label - a personal work reflecting on his childhood and looking ahead to new chapters. His seventh album I See My Light is scheduled for September 2026.

The concert features mainly standing room; a limited number of seated places on the balcony are available exclusively through LantarenVenster.
