About: Rafael Anton Irisarri

Born in Puerto Rico and raised between San Juan and the US mainland, Irisarri builds his compositions from bowed guitar drones, loops, and electronics - music that breathes slowly and conjures a palpable sense of distance and memory. His live sets frequently take place in unconventional spaces such as churches and museums, where architecture becomes part of the sound.
