Description was written before the event

Dance of the Brushes presents an exhibition on the theme "Daughters of the Sun". The sun takes centre stage as a symbol of divine energy in Japanese art and culture - an energy that women have carried and passed down through the centuries.

The works form a tribute to the life force of women, viewed through a Japanese perspective.
