Festival Musica Sacra Maastricht

Festival Musica Sacra Maastricht is an annual festival that has existed for over forty years, using three days to transform various venues across and around the city into stages: churches, castles, theaters, and museums.

Each year the programme revolves around a central theme. The 44th edition in 2026 focuses on 'Ecstasy'. The offering ranges from Gregorian and classical music to pop, world music, folk singing, and experimental sound art, complemented by poetry, film, visual art, theater, and dance.

The festival connects art, spirituality, and contemporary questions.
