The First Flying Woman of Rotterdam

Willem van Alphen presents his book "The First Flying Woman of Rotterdam - The Extraordinary Life of Corite van Alphen-Roos 1895-1969" at Boekhandel Donner. He shares the story of his grandmother, who was the first woman in Rotterdam to earn her pilot's license, and discusses pre-war Rotterdam as depicted in the book.

Following the presentation, Van Alphen will sign copies of his book.
