Het Nieuwe Instituut is the Dutch national museum for architecture, design and digital culture, based in Rotterdam. The 1990s building, designed by Jo Coenen, sits alongside the modernist Villa Sonneveld and a major architecture archive. Alongside its changing exhibitions, the institute hosts lectures, debates and public programmes on the built and digital environment.
