The Wereldmuseum Leiden - formerly the Rijksmuseum voor Volkenkunde - is one of the oldest ethnographic museums in the world. Its collection holds over 240,000 objects from Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, some dating back to seventeenth-century Dutch trade expeditions.
