From 3 April to 6 September 2026, Japanmuseum SieboldHuis presents the photography exhibition Tokyo Tokyo by Richard Koek. Koek is fascinated by life in megacities and focuses his lens on the people behind Tokyo's familiar urban landscape.

About the venue: Japanmuseum SieboldHuis

The SieboldHuis in Leiden is a museum dedicated to Japan and to Philipp Franz von Siebold, the nineteenth-century physician and naturalist who brought an extraordinary collection of Japanese objects to the Netherlands. The building is a listed eighteenth-century canal house. Changing exhibitions cover Japanese art, culture and the long history of Dutch-Japanese relations.
