Naturalis Biodiversity Center is the Dutch national natural history museum, located in Leiden next to the Hortus Botanicus. Its collection runs to over 42 million specimens, making it one of the largest of its kind in the world. Permanent galleries cover evolution, geology and biodiversity, while the star exhibit is Trix - one of the most complete Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons ever excavated.
