Description was written before the event

In 2025, the Zierikzee Masonic lodge The Star in the East celebrates its 225th anniversary. It is the oldest association in Schouwen-Duiveland, founded during the Batavian Republic (1795-1806).

About the venue: Stadhuismuseum Zierikzee

The Stadhuismuseum Zierikzee is housed in the town's medieval city hall, one of the best-preserved Gothic civic buildings in the Netherlands. Its collection covers the history of Zierikzee and the wider Schouwen-Duiveland region, including the town's prosperous trading past and the devastating flood of 1953. Exhibits range from archaeological finds to historical paintings and everyday objects.
