Alternate Takes

On Thursday, 24 September 2026, Alternate Takes celebrates BIRD's fifteenth anniversary with a special jubilee edition. The event takes over the entire building: the Garden, the Café, Boog3 and the Podiumzaal.

The programme features live shows, DJ-sets and acoustic sessions by Rotterdam artists exploring the future of music with Black roots - jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, R&B and electronic genres. Promising acts are presented in collaboration with Cult North and De Nieuwe Lichting.

Entry operates on a 'Pay What You Can' ticket policy, so everyone can join.
