Amsterdam Fringe Festival

Every September, the Amsterdam Fringe Festival fills the city for 11 days with theatre, performance and dance from new, emerging and untamed makers. The programme features over 54 artists and groups from diverse backgrounds, presenting work that remains open-ended and experimental.

The festival is a haven for experimentation: a platform for independent voices and stories you won't find elsewhere. The outcome is deliberately open - that is precisely the point.

The entire city becomes a playground. From gardens to bars to theatres, from north to south: across some 22 venues spread throughout Amsterdam, there is something to see every day for 11 days.
