During Playgrounds Illustrada, an illustration route runs through the centre of Tilburg. Illustrators transform shop windows and storefronts of shops, institutions and other buildings in the city centre into temporary artworks - and the Bibliotheek LocHal is taking part.

About the venue: de Bibliotheek LocHal

The LocHal is a former NS locomotive shed that was converted into a public library and cultural meeting place. The striking industrial building from the 1930s reopened in 2019 after an extensive renovation and was named Best Library in the Netherlands that same year. Alongside books and workspaces, it hosts lectures, exhibitions and other events.
