Tapschrift Arnhem: Hot Autumn Edition

Tapschrift is an open stage for the verbal arts, founded in 2011. Poets, prose writers, theatre writers, musicians, cabaret performers and the occasional magician or ventriloquist are all welcome. The edition on Thursday, 10 September at Café Bosch in Arnhem has room for 12 speakers, each with five minutes of stage time.

To sign up to perform, register via the Tapschrift Instagram. You can always come to watch without registering. Sign-ups are processed in order of arrival, but newcomers and people travelling from far away get priority.

A few house rules to know: performing from your phone costs you a beer for your colleagues (printing or memorizing is appreciated). Tapschrift starts sometime between 20:00 and 23:00; those on the list perform between 20:00 and 00:00. Be on time, as a no-show disrupts the schedule. You can cancel, but don't do it at the last minute. All communication goes through the event itself, not via the Tapschrift page or personal messages.

Tapschrift is also active in Nijmegen, Utrecht and at various festivals.
