Heerenhuyskamerconcert - Anne-Roos

Anne-Roos is one of the Netherlands' emerging jazz vocalists. She combines classical jazz tradition with a soulful sound and poetic lyrics - a style she developed further during her studies at the Codarts Conservatory, where she graduated in June 2025.

During her studies, she launched her own project and recorded her debut EP 'The Start of Something Big'. The EP features five tracks arranged by pianist Francisco Rodríguez. Four are her own compositions; the opening track - which inspired the EP's title - is an existing song. The EP will be released this autumn.

Besides her own work, Anne-Roos also performs classics by the great female jazz artists who inspire her.
