Landscapes of Memory — Museum Henriette Polak, Zutphen

The work of Thijs Buit (Hattem, 1934) - paintings and drawings - emerges from a continuous interplay of observation, memory, and the painting process itself.

About the venue: Museum Henriette Polak

Museum Henriette Polak in Zutphen focuses on figurative art from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The collection brings together paintings, sculptures and prints by Dutch artists who place the human figure at the centre of their work. Housed in a historic building on the Zaadmarkt, the museum also hosts a regular programme of temporary exhibitions.
