When Emile is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's, he turns his back on his safe but suffocating surroundings. He impulsively buys a camper and posts an ad for a travel companion - to which the mysterious Joanne responds.

Together they embark on an unexpected road trip that confronts them with memories, desires, and the question of how to move forward when the future is so uncertain.
