Nashville's Bluebird Café

Wim van de Vliert brings the spirit of Nashville's Bluebird Café to Dronten on Saturday, 3 October. He performs at De Meerpaal alongside American singer Emily Brooke and a guest musician, presenting country and western songs in an intimate setting inspired by the legendary Nashville venue. The trio follows the Bluebird's tradition of close listening and direct connection with the audience. This is one of three Dutch dates Van de Vliert is playing this autumn. De Meerpaal, designed by architect Frank van Klingeren in 1967, is a modernist cultural centre whose open, transparent design complements the intimate nature of the concert.
