Classical Late-Summer Concert - Umut Veysel Demirtaş

On Saturday, 12 September, Umut Veysel Demirtaş performs with the Soundwave Collective Orchestra, conducted by Libia Hernandez. The programme features his own compositions, taking the audience through his personal musical stories.

The 25-year-old Demirtaş is a classical composer and pianist. He studied composition in Graz, Austria, and has previously performed at Felix Meritis, Beurs van Berlage, Tivoli Vredenburg and the Concertgebouw. Alongside his artistic work, he is affiliated with the Concertgebouw. His compositions blend classical and contemporary influences with his Turkish heritage.
