Whisky Tasting at Koepelgevangenis in Arnhem

The Koepelgevangenis in Arnhem served as a prison from 1886 to 2015 and is now a listed monument. In autumn 2026, there is one final opportunity to enjoy a whisky tasting here before the complex is converted into a hotel.

The tasting takes place in De Kas and features a selection of whiskies with commentary and snacks. Those interested can book a guided tour of approximately 75 minutes, led by a former guard who covers (almost) the entire building.

- 12:00-12:30 - Welcome (with coffee, tea, water and a sweet treat)
- 12:30-14:00 - Prison tour
- 13:30-14:00 - Welcome for other guests
- 14:00-16:30 - Whisky tasting in De Kas

- Guided tour: € 15 per person (book separately)
- Whisky tasting: € 64.95 per person
- Designated driver ticket: € 29.95 per person (participation without whisky tastings, including two drink vouchers)
