About: Nazanin Taheri

Nazanin Taheri is a Dutch-Iranian actress who fled Iran as a child and grew up in the Netherlands. She trained as an actor and has worked with companies including Het Nationale Theater, De Toneelmakerij and Theatergroep Suburbia, with TV credits in Bennie (Videoland) and De Ballonvaarder (Disney+). De Surpriseshow is her debut solo theatre piece, drawing on her own story as a refugee child.
