About the venue: Rijksmuseum Boerhaave

Rijksmuseum Boerhaave in Leiden is the Dutch national museum for the history of science and medicine. Its collection spans centuries of scientific instruments, anatomical specimens and medical equipment - including objects once owned by Antonie van Leeuwenhoek and Christiaan Huygens. The museum is housed in a seventeenth-century former hospice and hosts both permanent galleries and changing exhibitions.
