KIES Group Course

KIES stands for Children in Separation. This play and discussion group helps children aged 7 to 12 understand parental separation better, express their questions and feelings about it, and cope with what they find difficult. The group meets in a small, safe environment.

KIES is a preventive support programme developed from the child's perspective and scientifically grounded by Utrecht University. The group is led by trained KIES coaches.

Children meet 7 times on Wednesdays: 23 and 30 September, 7, 14 and 28 October, and 4, 11 and 18 November, from 15:15 to 16:15 at Startpunt. There are also 2 parent meetings: Monday 21 September and Wednesday 18 November 2026, from 19:30 to 20:30, also at Startpunt.
