Sterre Konijn is a Dutch singer and theatre-maker who works at the intersection of classical music, pop and performance. She combines Italian singing with Dutch texts, drawing on traditions ranging from Gregorian chant to contemporary classical music. Her project Via Inferno links Dante's Divina Commedia to personal and universal questions about what it means to be human.
