Information Evening: Gas(t)free Eck en Wiel - Living Without Gas

Energy cooperative eCoBuren is organizing an information evening on Thursday, September 17 from 20:00 to 22:00 about living without gas in Eck en Wiel. By the end of the evening, you will know which method of gas-free heating (and cooling) best suits your situation - whether you tackle it individually or together with your neighbors.

Over the past years, eCoBuren has investigated the feasibility of a shared solution: a very-low-temperature (VLT) district heating network that can sustainably heat and cool virtually all homes and buildings in Eck en Wiel. During the evening, eCoBuren will present the research results and compare them with individual options, such as a heat pump per home.

eCoBuren will also gauge interest in a collective approach - small collective (2 to 10 homes) or large collective (more than 250 homes). If there is sufficient interest, the cooperative wants to start a new initiative group for further exploration.
