METALNIGHT (3 bands)

The annual Metalnight at Rockcafé Taste features three bands this year.

Locus Negativ is an electronic act from Almelo, started in 2015 as a duo project by a writer/singer and a keyboardist/guitarist. Their sound draws from rock, metal, new-wave, classical and drum 'n bass - shifting with each song. The story behind the music is central; instruments and vocals are the means to tell that story.

THRASHCAN is a thrash metal cover band from the Achterhoek, founded in January 2015. With covers of Exodus, Slayer, Testament, Sepultura, Metallica, Anthrax and Megadeth, the band has delivered a solid set for ten years.

Grey Moray is a power quartet from the German underground scene, consisting of guitarist Tony Mulkes, bassist Till Schliekelmann, drummer Lucas Katzmann and vocalist Philip Wilke. The band combines sludge and heavy metal with influences from Down, The Sword, Spiritual Beggars and Kyuss.

Tickets are available in advance for € 9.00 (excluding service charges, including VAT and Buma/Stemra fees). At the door, a ticket costs € 12.50, while supplies last.
