Focus

On Friday 13 November, Focus takes the stage at De Meester in Almere. The band has been performing for over fifty years and recently released the enthusiastically received album Focus 12, with which they continue to tour concert halls around the world.

The concert lasts just over two hours and covers a large part of their discography: material from Moving Waves, Focus 3 and Hamburger Concerto, alongside songs such as House of the King, Sylvia, the epic Eruption and Hocus Pocus. The latter still regularly appears in films and commercials, continually attracting new listeners.

3voor12 wrote that the band "leaves a thoroughly satisfied audience" and spoke of "more than fifty years of national progressive rock pride that came, saw and conquered." Progjazz.net called their performance "a masterclass in passion, virtuosity, and inspiration." Maxazine.nl saw a band that honours its rich history.
