Friday, October 2nd, Poppodium de Meester in Almere celebrates pop-punk and nostalgia.

The evening opens with VIEK. When frontman Davic learned his bandmates wanted to quit, he chose a solo career. With VIEK, he delivers tightly produced power-pop where melody takes centre stage, featuring big hooks and a show built on energy and conviction.

Next comes Bony Macaroni, a band making emo-pop about life's chaotic sides - blending melancholy, humour and self-deprecation in equal measure. Following their debut album The Big Bucks, they return with Death Drive, an album examining the uncertainties of being in your twenties in the 2020s. Dark themes wrapped in songs you'll want to sing along to immediately.

Stink-182 closes the evening with an energetic tribute to Blink-182, complete with all the recognizable riffs and sing-along moments that'll make you want to dig your skateboard out of the shed.
