Souls of Diotima

Souls of Diotima is a metal band from Sassari, Italy, founded in 2004 by drummer and lyricist Giorgio Pinna and his brother. With vocalist Claudia Barsi as frontwoman, the band has been active for over twenty years, evolving from symphonic power metal toward a more experimental sound.

2026 marks a new chapter: the band is moving toward modern metalcore while maintaining their distinctive sonic identity. This shift is announced by the single "Run Away" (released in June 2026) and their fifth studio album "Arcade", out on 2 October 2026 via their own label Diotima Records. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Studio Bohus in Sweden by producer Oscar Nilsson alongside Mikko Viitala and Thomas Plec Johansson.
