As I Left

Who are you? And who do you become when you must flee your country, learn the harsh sides of the world, and are seen as 'the other' by those around you?

In the theatre production As I Left My Father's House, three characters - with Christian, Jewish and Islamic backgrounds - each tell their own story. Central to the piece are displacement, identity and the passing of stories to the next generation. The production uses monologues, poetic texts and live music.

The three stories are rooted in personal history and universal spirituality, exploring struggle, hope and inner strength.
