Dordtse Monumentendagen: DJ Jazzy Jan's Vinyl Café

Muziekpodium DJS - formerly the Dordtse Jazz Sociëteit - is housed in the listed building at Grotekerksplein 1 in Dordrecht's historic city centre. The venue, which underwent major renovation in 2024, is looking forward to celebrating its eightieth anniversary next year.

During the Dordtse Monumentendagen, the doors are open on Saturday 12 September from 12:00 to 17:00. Visitors can explore the building freely and listen to DJ Jazzy Jan de Lange, a long-time fixture at DJS. He spins vinyl from his own collection - often rare records - and tailors his selection to the mood of the moment. If you wish, you can have a drink, chat, or dance.
