Lina Gronemeyer Quintet

Clarinetist and composer Lina Gronemeyer's quintet creates a distinctive sound that blends jazz, classical music, and Balkan music. Her compositions move between vulnerability and strength, featuring unconventional arrangements and a pronounced sense of contrast.

Gronemeyer studied classical clarinet cum laude in Lübeck, Germany, and later immersed herself in the jazz and crossover scene in Rotterdam, where she is pursuing a master's degree in jazz and world music at Codarts. Since 2024, she has been performing her work with a permanent band.
