On a Hart voor Humor try-out evening, 4 to 8 comedians test their latest material on their way to their own full-length show. A presenter links the acts together - smoothly or not. From fresh ideas to raw first attempts: every evening is different and no two evenings are the same.

When you buy a ticket, you agree to Hart voor Humor's five golden rules:

1. Humor is daring to try. Only when you say it do you know if it works. Sometimes it goes wrong, and that's part of it.
2. Humor and satire should be free, without censorship, so freedom of expression remains.
3. The artist's opinion doesn't matter, as long as they try to make it funny. Differences create humor for us, not hate.
4. All comedians have their own perspective. They do not represent Hart voor Humor's opinion as a whole.
5. No filming or audio recordings during the show. What happens on stage stays on stage.
