Description was written before the event

BaBa ZuLa celebrates 30 years of existence. The Turkish band started in 1996 in Istanbul, where the five members create music using everyday objects like spoons, machines and toys. They also play traditional Oriental instruments such as the darbuka and electric saz, complemented by modern Turkish drum machines. This blend of rock, folk and dub they call Istanbul Psychedelia.

No two live shows are the same: BaBa ZuLa improvises and combines music with costumes, belly dancers, poetry and theatrical settings.

Tickets: early bird € 17,50 / regular € 20,- / at the door € 22,50.
