In a small French town in the 1950s, Hélène and Michel lead a carefree life with their two children. Michel is the head of the household, Hélène fulfils her role as wife and mother - until the family unexpectedly lands in the year 2025. They find themselves in a society that differs in almost every way from what they know: technology shapes daily life and the position of women has fundamentally changed.

For Hélène, this new world feels like a revelation; she realises her life no longer needs to revolve around her husband's expectations and society's demands. For Michel, the confrontation is a hard blow - the certainties he has always relied on have suddenly vanished. As old convictions clash with new ideas, tensions, frustrations and hidden desires come to the surface. This French comedy attracted nearly 900,000 viewers in France.
