Schiebroek Leeft: "The Positive Agenda" and "Nu Al Leuk"

As part of Schiebroek Leeft, one or two bands perform on the first Saturday of each month in the hall of De Buurvrouw. On 5 September, two bands from Schiebroek are on the programme.

First up is the six-piece Pretty Close Harmony & The Positive Agenda. They are a street band rarely seen on the street - and they are perfectly happy with that. Their repertoire consists of songs with a cheerful message and an upbeat groove, performed with great enthusiasm.

After the break, it is the turn of the quartet Nu Al Leuk. The group performs their own Dutch-language cabaret-pop songs and covers from 70s Southern Acoustic Rock, including Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Eagles and Albert Hammond. The four members - Andries, Sanne, Sander and Bas - share the roles of guitarist, singer, bass guitarist, keyboardist, percussionist and harmonica player, resulting in a sound where group singing and musical enjoyment are central.
