Description was written before the event

On Friday 11 September, The Wildfires perform at Poppodium Corneel in Lelystad. The Alkmaar-based rock band consists of four 18-year-old musicians drawing inspiration from classic rock of the 1970s and 1990s - influenced by Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and Red Hot Chili Peppers. This blend of blues and funk earned them the title of Popmania 2025 winners earlier this year.

Support comes from Platapus, a young band from Flevoland. Gonny, Amber and Mel met at school and play a mix of covers and original songs - from loud to quieter - while developing their own sound.
