Night of Sociology
Fri, 30 Oct 2026 · 20:00 — 22:00
On Friday 30 October from 20:00, Arminius hosts the Night of Sociology: an evening of lectures and conversations spread across three rooms, all focused on everyday life and contemporary society.
The questions at the heart of the evening are diverse: why are more and more older people choosing a life without a partner? How does growing attention to beauty change our lives? Do highly educated people in the Netherlands have too much say? What is the difference between 'refugee' and 'fortune seeker'? And why are the leaders of far-right parties almost always women?
