Italian pianist and composer Andrea Vanzo has built a reputation as one of the more distinctive voices in contemporary neoclassical music. Based in the hills around Bologna, he writes intimate, cinematic piano pieces that draw on modern classical music with quiet pop influences. Nature sits at the core of his work - wind, flowing water and the stillness of sunrise all feed into compositions that reach for emotions beyond language.

Vanzo came to international attention during the pandemic after sharing his music on social media; his work now reaches hundreds of millions of listeners, and he has over one million followers on Instagram. His arrangement of Song of Storms from The Legend of Zelda brought him to a still wider audience. After Intimacy Vol. 1, he released Intimacy Vol. 2 in 2025 - both albums channel his feeling for nature, stillness and human emotion into warm, cinematic piano music.

In concert, Vanzo performs these pieces with the same quiet focus with which they were written.
