Young Gun Silver Fox is a British-American duo formed in London in 2012, comprising singer-songwriter Andy Platts and multi-instrumentalist Shawn Lee. Their music draws on the West Coast AOR and pop-soul sounds of the 1970s - described by their former label as "a modern re-imagining of the classic West Coast AOR studio sound." Five albums in, from West End Coast (2015) to Pleasure (2025), they have built a devoted following across the UK, Europe and the US, including sold-out nights at Amsterdam's Paradiso.
Young Gun Silver Fox released their fifth studio album Pleasure on May 2, 2025 via Blue Élan Records - their first album with this label.
The single 'Stevie & Sly', a tribute to Stevie Wonder and Sly Stone, was released as a precursor to Pleasure and was recorded during a spontaneous jam session in Andy's studio The Prairie in Norfolk.
The duo concluded their largest US tour to date in 2024, performing as support for The Black Pumas in both the US and the United Kingdom.
Young Gun Silver Fox is scheduled to perform at Paradiso in Amsterdam on January 13, 2026.
Dutch concerts have been announced for January 2027 at Theater Heerlen (January 28) and Musis Sacrum in Arnhem (January 31).
