Wytch Hazel are a British hard rock and heavy metal band from Lancashire, active since 2011. Founded by vocalist and guitarist Colin Hendra, the quartet draws on classic 1970s rock - Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden - and filters it through rich vocal harmonies, twin-guitar interplay, and lyrics steeped in Christian imagery, though the band does not identify as a Christian act. Their fifth album, 'V: Lamentations', was released in July 2025 on Bad Omen Records.
Wytch Hazel released their fifth studio album 'V: Lamentations' on July 4, 2025 via Bad Omen Records, produced by longtime producer Ed Turner.
The band announced their first own headliner tour: the 'Heaven & Spell Tour' in spring 2026, with shows in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, with Phantom Spell as special guest.
Wytch Hazel performed as opening act for guitar legend Michael Schenker on his 'My Years With UFO' UK tour.
