Wil van der Meer is a Dutch actor who grew up in a butcher's family and found his way into the theatre world. As a young actor he spent years reading plays aloud to Annie M.G. Schmidt every Saturday, becoming part of her inner circle. His solo shows weave together personal stories and songs.
