About

Warhaus is the solo project of Belgian singer-songwriter Maarten Devoldere (born 1987 in Ghent), also known as the frontman of indie rock band Balthazar. Under the Warhaus name he makes dark, soulful pop music with a cinematic, melancholic edge, a sound he has developed since his 2016 debut 'We Fucked a Flame Into Being' through 'Warhaus' (2017), 'Ha Ha Heartbreak' (2022) and 'Karaoke Moon' (2024). His fifth studio album, 'The Donkey', is due in January 2027 and pushes his signature sophisticated pop toward South African gqom and electronic influences.

Warhaus kondigde zijn vijfde studioalbum 'The Donkey' aan (verschijnt 15 januari 2027), met de single 'Simple Pleasures' en nieuwe Europese tourdata, waaronder een show in de Gashouder in Amsterdam op 20 februari 2027.

Voorafgaand aan de albumaankondiging bracht Warhaus de sfeervolle teasersingle 'The Baby' uit.

Ter promotie van 'Karaoke Moon' speelde Warhaus een clubtour door Nederland, met shows in Koninklijk Theater Carré Amsterdam, TivoliVredenburg Utrecht, De Oosterpoort Groningen en Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
