VNTM is the stage name of Amsterdam-born producer and live act Tom van de Ven (1994), who performs exclusively with his own material and machines. His sound sits between dark underground techno and progressive melodic textures - haunting chords, heavy bass and atmospheric strings are his signatures. In January 2020 he reached #1 in the Melodic House & Techno chart on Beatport with his 'Dark Knight EP', the debut release on his own Apparition label. He has performed internationally at Afterlife (Tomorrowland and Printworks), Awakenings and Straf_werk alongside Tale of Us, Charlotte de Witte and Adam Beyer, and is the founder of Amsterdam's Mindscape events concept.
On 8 November 2025, VNTM played a seven-hour all-night-long live set at Lofi Amsterdam, for the first time as the sole act on the Colorfloor.
In May 2025, VNTM performed live at the Mindscape evening at Lofi Amsterdam, together with Mano Le Tough and Recondite.
In March 2025, VNTM performed live at Mindscape at Lofi Amsterdam, on an evening with Âme DJ and Eli Verveine.
On 8 November 2024, the four-track EP 'The Spiral' was released on ARTS Records, VNTM's first release on that label.
In July 2024, VNTM released 'Open Source 09: Discharge', part of his ongoing series in which he releases the track as well as all individual stems for remixes and sampling.
