The Violin Concerto No. 3 in B minor by Camille Saint-Saëns (op. 61) was composed in 1880 and dedicated to the Spanish violinist Pablo de Sarasate. It is the most performed of his three violin concertos, blending lyrical warmth with considerable technical demands. The finale, a spirited rondo, is a particular favourite with audiences.
